To return to the Nursery, we require a certificate of clean health for your child from a doctor.
Busy Bees will accept a child that:
The Nursery holds a policy on Notifiable diseases and conditions and so if your child contracts any infectious illness or is suffering from a condition you must tell us without delay and we will advise you as to when your child can next attend the Nursery.
This includes but is not limited to
Administering of First Aid
We have a fully qualified Nurse on the premises and we keep a well stocked first aid kit. The staffs hold a current Paediatric Plus First Aid Certificate and it is regularly updated. If a child has an injury, it will be treated immediately and an accident or incident report prepared for the parent to view and sign on the same day. If a head injury occurs, a parent will be informed immediately.
The nurse will administer all medicines. A medical consent form must be filled in and signed by a parent or guardian and a full explanation with full details of the medicines, dosage and administration times should be given. All medication must be left in the office with a member of staff and not in your child’s class/lunch bag. We must have the original bottle with the medicine information leaflet in case there is a query on the dosage.
